In Resurrection, you play as a knight who is seeking treasure in a dungeon. You need to use the power of the magic altars and a variety of other mechanics to defeat all of the monsters that guard the treasure in each level. In order to unlock the chest and claim your valuable reward, you must kill all of the skeletons and bats and fill all of the holes in the level. However, your sword is too short, and so in order to kill the monsters you need to move onto them, which puts yourself in danger as well.

Use the arrow keys or WASD to move your player, and press R or click the rotating arrow button to restart the current level. Press and hold H for one second to return to the level select screen. Press M to mute/unmute music.

If you're really stuck, pressing N can skip a level. You can also start from any level using the Level Select menu. I advise you not to overuse it or you'll ruin the experience.

Made for the Pixel Game Jam 2025 with the theme "From the Dead."

There are 32 levels in this jam build. There are also cutscenes after every 8 levels, so make sure to play through them all! Expect 40-60 minutes for your first playthrough.

A simple idea, beautifully executed. I entered to play for a few minutes but got carried away and spent a lot of time. It really is a fun game in every way!

Great idea!

One minor suggestion: an indicator of solved levels on the level select screen might be nice.
